Description

Grade Inflation directly impacts our students and the college admissions landscape. Grading cultures have shifted in recent decades, and it’s not always for parents and educators to hear that having As is not nearly as special as it used to be. Colleges are grappling with grade compression and inflation, looking for ways to differentiate students. Let’s explore how to best position our students for success with factors that will help them stand out in a crowded field.

Hosted by Applerouth founder and educational psychologist Jed Applerouth, PhD, this event will feature an expert panel of independent educational consultants and admissions directors, discussing recent trends in grade inflation, how they're advising students in light of those developments, and what students can do now to set themselves apart.

Meet the Panel

  • Jed Applerouth, Ph.D., Applerouth founder & educational psychologist
  • Belinda Wilkerson, Ed.D., Independent Educational Consultant & Independent Educational Consultants Association President
  • Tracy Gruenig, M.S., Independent Educational Consultant
  • Mary Tipton Woolley, M.S., Senior Associate Director of Undergraduate Admission, Georgia Tech

Please note: If you cannot make it on this date, register anyway and we'll send a link to the webinar recording.
